If you’ve landed here, chances are you’ve been part of the Salon Benders journey or you’re searching for a safe, inclusive space to feel seen and cared for. Either way, welcome and thank you.

The salon was never just a salon. It was a container for transformation, truth telling, queer beauty, and reclaiming our bodies and stories through style. And like all living things, it has evolved.

Salon Benders’ physical space has closed, but its spirit lives on in my private practice and in the network of artists who helped shape this space.

I no longer offer traditional hair services. My work has deepened into something more therapeutic, a blend of subconscious healing, hypnotherapy, and ritual hair sessions that support inner shifts and aligned self expression.

From my private, intentionally designed studio (location shared upon appointment), I now practice as The Subliminal Stylist, a licensed cosmetologist and certified clinical hypnotherapist/healing artist.

This site now serves as a tribute to the collective energy that made Salon Benders so special. You’ll find a curated list of my favorite artists, healers, and collaborators from the Benders community. Their contact info is included. If someone’s work speaks to you, please reach out and support them directly.
